After more than 30 years in accounting, I've learned that good bookkeeping is much more than keeping records up to date. It's about understanding the numbers, recognizing when something does not look right, and providing business owners with reliable information they can use with confidence. 

My accounting background, along with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University, has given me a strong foundation in the principles behind the numbers. Throughout my career, I've worked with reconciliations, payroll, general ledger activity, month-end close, financial reporting, record cleanup, and bookkeeping systems to turn complicated or disorganized information into clear, accurate, and manageable information.

That practical, detail-oriented perspective is what led me to start my bookkeeping business.
